Waerebo takes its name from one of Indonesia's most remote highland villages — a place of morning cloud, ancient houses, and air that carries the altitude in every breath. The villa brings something of that spirit to the shores of Lake Buyan: positioned above the main house, with views across the lake and the surrounding highland ridges, it's a room that feels genuinely elevated. The indoor balcony with its day bed is where the days begin and end — coffee in the morning mist, the lake changing colour through the afternoon, the hills darkening at dusk.
